Day 111 After Maria

I woke up at 4 AM and couldn’t get back to sleep.

This day was interesting in that I spent a good part of the morning in a medical clinic waiting my turn to find out why a claim was being denied.

Reason: insurance company believes that I have other medical insurance which would then be the primary. This is false. I will need to go back tomorrow and settle this.

Then the early wake caught up with me and I slept through most of the afternoon.

The continuing BLUE FLU epidemic has claimed its first casualy. The appointed Police Commisioner has resigned. The paper reports that she had lost control of the force.

The interim police chief will now tackle the task of ending the Blue Flu epidemic and solve the morale problem.

How long must we wait? How heavy the toll?
