Comes The Storm

Comes The Storm

I’m not going to give in

to sad endings

let me fly above them all

even if it is alone

I hold every moment intact

thought you look away from me

I have opened so many doors without you

closed others    changed the locks

I have walked the beach with no hand

to hold    hold me tight

what I want is worthless

what I want turns to dust in my hands

what I want I know better than to need

to define me    rain falls without you

comes the thunder

counting until lightening

yes I know the swift approach

light my own candle against the storm

I refuse you now

I have held constant for so long

even as old pictures fade

I remain    yes I

remain strong

I am a writer, photographer, and swim instructor/coach and finally, a yoga instructor! Yeah, I do a lot of stuff! I was lucky enough to grow up in both Puerto Rico and New York. I am obsessed with Santa Maria Magdalena de Pazzis Cemetery in Viejo San Juan. It is located below El Castillo de San Felipe del Morro.

      2. It is strange Cindy. I know that when I started blogging, no one liked anything or commented for years. Weird isn’t it! Keep going though. Hope some people pick up on you. Xx

      3. Lol. I had another one befire this one, called zanywildwords and at furst no one much visited it. Then after a while a few did. Mi set my present one, blindwilderness, up because I wanted a spiritual site. Nothing happened with it for AGES and I gave up on it. Then, no one at all came to zanywildwords. But then, syddenly the blindwilderness one took off. But I don’t know how or why lol. I stopped using it just for spiritual stuff and post all sorts on it now, but still including spiritual stuff. There is no rhyme nor reason to it!
