Gotta Have A Penthouse
I come
out of the wind moist
with ocean in my hair
to find you to lay
my head in your lap
the heat of your hand
on my face
stars in the mist
moonlight
barefoot on the terrace
Stopping For A Kiss On The Edge Of The Ocean
I need you, I want you, I blame you for every mistake, every poor choice. You surround me, inescapably. Even if I wanted to, I can’t. We wrote memories beneath our skin, you and I. By choice. I can live every day with you in my bed or survive every night with you in my heart alone.

Conjunction Of Ocean And Prayer
Ars Poetica
it was Greece
so easily
opening my eyes
I want you
come
climb through my petticoat
white curtains billow
cerulean oceans
somewhere between these
lips petulant vortex
pressed palm of my hand
the love line extends off
infinitely becoming
there is a point
immaculate
between your breasts
where harmony overcomes
angels fly from my fingertips
gently along the crescent of your sleep
give me your hand
its already too late
our eyes flashed
locked
gave us away
even ordering wine
is impossible without you
come
come run away with me
come
all night long
the full moon spoke
words of love
to her little stars
whispering
this is a female constellation
Avalon
In this white white house
on the edge of the Atlantic
a voice runs along my skin
trembling at the texture
of a woman you waited
ten years to touch
slow samba of the heart
as you sleep dream
of your life on this
bright side of ocean
inevitable calm
surrounds you, I come
out of the wind moist
with ocean in my hair
to find you to lay
my head in your lap
the heat of your hand
on my face
stars in the mist
on the shore moonlight
barefoot on the terrace
the soft of this moment
of this all
overwhelms
swirls around us
you asleep in a blue chair
and I whispering to the moon
Tropical Ghazal
imagine i kiss you with empty hands,
while a possible horizon meets the sea.
moments beyond touch, the elements suffuse,
entwine and are lost in each other.
if the sun, then i might,
lush tropicals press the wind wanting you.
slowly rocked by the nature of the sea,
i dream of you coming to me at night.
one line spells itself across the horizon,
push, push into the sea of me.
