She Lay Down Her Head

If she didn’t stop, she would fall. Just a moment to lay her head down and think. Let the world rush past. She needed a moment. Gather herself together. Listen to her racing heart. Calm her raging mind.IMG_1360.jpg

Bringing Back Paradise

Today is Day 171 since Hurricane Maria made landfall and Day 184 since Hurricane Irma made landfall on the island of Puerto Rico. We hope that we are coming closer to regaining full power for our island. Remember power is only one piece of the puzzle, albeit the key piece in bringing back paradise.

If you could stand with me. Something as simple as ten toes and leather sandals to prove the test of time. Could this be immortality?IMG_0283.jpg

Los Pies Del Santo

He couldn’t understand why she took photos of the feet; why the sandals were so important. Love isn’t always demonstrated in the grand scale, she sighed. Love is in the most minute of details. It’s in the ability to remember just how a person stood, bearing weight on the right foot when they listened, really listened to what you had to say. Left foot poised to step closer, to take you in their arms.IMG_0280.jpg

It has been 157 Days since Hurricane Maria made landfall & 171 Days since Hurricane Irma made landfall on the island of Puerto Rico.

If I Can’t Have You

That disco song was stuck in her head. It looped over and over. …….if I can’t have you, I don’t want nobody baby, if I can’t have you………

Only We Can Share

Once you asked me why I took so many photos of angels. I told you my secret………because I’ll never be one what’s why. But, you’re my angel, you insisted. I’m not your angel, my love. I’m your hell, just as you are mine. No matter how many pictures I take. No matter how many you enshrine on the walls. It’s a beautiful hell, isn’t it? One only we can share.
